Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Henrik Zetterberg's beautiful double-deke move led to the game-winning goal in the shootout, as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Colorado Avalanche, 4-3, in a battle of Western Conference rivals at Pepsi Center.
Zetterberg also scored in regulation along with Pavel Datsyuk and Robert Lang, as Detroit snapped a three-game skid. Dominik Hasek allowed three goals on 25 shots in the victory.
Milan Hejduk scored his 14th goal for Colorado and in the process became the first player to reach the career 500-point mark for a player who entered the NHL since the 1998-99 campaign.
