HAMILTON (CP) - Zack Stortini scored twice in the second period to lead the Hamilton Bulldogs to a 6-1 win over the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights in American Hockey League action Friday night.
After a scoreless first period, Omaha (9-3-1-0) took a 1-0 lead 55 seconds into the second period when Carsen Germyn scored for his fourth goal of the season for the Knights.
The Bulldogs (5-6-0-1) responded with six unanswered goals including Stortini's two, Maxim Lapierre's fifth goal of the season, and goals from Duncan Milroy, Jonathan Ferland and Corey Locke.
