Sportsnet has learned that Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Andy Wozniewski will be out four months as a result of a left shoulder injury.

He'll be having shoulder surgery, so this means that another Leaf d-man falls down... and this time it's long term.

Ouch. Hopefully it's a quick four months, if there is such a thing.

I feel bad because this came at a pivotal time in his career.

Given the parity between the young defensemen on the Leafs he could come back to find someone has taken his job.
