Defenseman Garrett Stafford played the hero for Worcester by scoring the game-winning goal 2:47 into overtime as the visiting Sharks downed division rival Lowell by a score of 3-2.
Stafford also recorded an assist on the night, while Mike Iggulden also tallied a goal and an assist in the contest for Worcester, who completed its six game road trip with a 3-2-0-1 record.
Dimitri Patzold stopped 23 shots on the afternoon to earn his fifth win and improve his record to 5-3-3 on the year.
Petr Vrana and David Clarkson, who was named Player of the Week earlier in the afternoon, tallied for the Devils in the loss.
