Patrick Traverse tallied a shorthanded goal at 16:06 of the first period, which proved to be the difference as the Worcester Sharks downed the B-Sens by a score of 2-1 at the DCU Center.

Dimitri Patzold made 28 saves for the Sharks, who won their third consecutive game, all of which have been decided by one goal.

Fellow teammate and defenseman Scott Ferguson added the other goal on the man advantage for Worcester.

Andrew Ebbett scored the only goal for Binghamton as netminder Jeff Glass made 25 saves in a losing effort.
