I am just curious and I have no idea but the St Louis Blues is getting harley any attendance to its games and now is so desperate they will be giving out free food to everyone that attends the game. If things continue like this will the team have to move citys because they wont be making any money????

Sorry Canuck, I missed this one!!

No I don't think they will be going anywhere!!

The team is winning a few games now, so the fans are starting to come back.

It's pretty bad when they have to bribe them with food though!! How sad it that? :(

The only other team's attendance that plummeted as bad as theirs has is Chicago.

Obviously not a good comparison.

Maybe they're like Dallas and need a "winning" team? The Stars success grew to sellouts in the playoffs when they were on their way to Lord Stanley, a the years surrounding that. (about the 1996-2001 area)

I don't think things have been going as well for them in their new arena though.

I'd hate to see hockey leave a town with such a rich history of sports. I think the league should really try to stick it out like they have with the Pens.

Too much time left on their lease at the Kiel/Savvis/Scottrade Center. It would cost too much to buy their way out of it. Besides, Checketts seems committed to keeping the team in St. Louis.

You mention chicago there attendance problems have been around ever since they left old chicago stadium. alot of fans just dont like the united center and dont like the ownership.the NHL will stay in pittsburgh i am sure that things will get done to keep the team there, and i dont see the STL BLUES going anywhere either.
