After winning six straight games, the Moose have dropped their last two games, falling to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 4-2 at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.

Jean-Francois Jacques provided a goal and an assist and Marc-Antoine Pouliot added three helpers for the baby-Pens, who have won their last four games at home.

Netminder Andrew Penner made 20 saves for Wilkes-Barre to improve his record to 16-3-1 on the year. Penner won his second straight start and has not lost since Nov. 29, earning nine consecutive wins during that stretch.

Brandon Reid and defenseman Prestin Ryan each tallied goals for Manitoba in the loss.
