Well the season and another playoff round are over for our Calgary Flames. Now lets break this team down player by player and see who should go and who stay.

Dion Phaneuf is first on my list, myself I think this guy has had his best season yet. Phaneuf is among this year's Norris Trophy finalists and am also happy he will be the new face of this team as Iggy gets older. All I can say is that this guy is ours for another 6 years!

I say he stays. :thumbsup:

Dustin Boyd, you always keep your young guns. I hope next season he get a lot more ice time and so far I've liked what I've seen from him as of late.

It'd be a good idea to hang onto Phaneuf, but you know, he'd be great in Philadelphia with Braydon Coburn.

Craig Conroy is next on the list. One of the 04 hero's in my eyes is dead and gone. The only way I could see keeping him for a few more years, pay him a lot less and keep him down on the 3rd or 4th line. As much as Flames fans love this guy he really hasn't brought much to the table other then keeping our captain happy.

Eric Godard Ok the one and only reason I like this guys is because he can kick a lot of ass. I also think he's a ****ty hockey player and should be let go or better yet traded:thumbsdow

Kristian Huselius Can't stand him and he's not worth keeping because he always has been and will continue to be a player that shows up when he feels it best suits his own intrests.

Jarome Iginla he will always be a Calgary Flame and yes one of the best in the NHL. This guy, year after year shows he always been a class act.

Daymond Langkow #22

Great 2nd liner, next season that's where he should be playing. I hope he stays but I hear Vancover is looking at him.

Matthew Lombardi

This guy needs a chance on our first two lines for one season! But with Keenan as bench boss I can't seeing a smart move like this come to light.

His speed alone makes him a keeper.:bt

Finally, someone who agrees with me. I heard Sutter and Keenan both really like him, but I think he's terrible.

we need to get huselius out and a get a 2nd line scorer or two who works hard. cause right now we got this for scoring forwards...

Huselius-Lombardi-?

Conroy will probably get appearances as well on scoring lines. I wonder if they will have either him or lombo on the wing of the 2nd line. But we definitly have to trade Huselius for a hard worker. I really like Eric Cole, i think he would be great on the flames.

Huselius becomes an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. We won't be trading him anywhere, he is just going to leave(thank god). I wish that we would re-sign Yelle, but unfortunately I think he's done with Calgary.

Actually, I think Cammalleri's going to be our 2nd line RW. You got Iggy's position wrong. He's a RW.

Owen Nolan

Now this is a guy I have mixed feelings about. He was great the last part of the season and playoffs but he I had to say it (sucked) the first part of the season.

Give him a two year deal :bt

flames get Bourque and Greentree. Greentree looks like a solid 4th liner/call up with good size and Bourque will be a great depth scorer if our stars have an off night.
