did anyone ever notice that out of all the people who got votes that Thornton never got the one? so does everyone here think that thornton would be better off not as a Captin? and who do you think should be captin of the sharks? thornton or Marleau? there both good leaders but who do you think really deserves the C?

I think Thornton was a great captain and he can still be a good captain. He would wear the "C" in San Jose but it's not fair to Marleau. And I bet he would be a great captain for Team Canada but there are many others that could also contend for the "C". The fact is Sakic is the captain, and if Sakic doesn't play in 2010 then Thornton will get many votes to be the captain in Vancouver.
