Going with Richards. This team has always been dangerous shorthanded. Richards is a great 2 way forward that can read the play and some one they always need to watch out for. Giroux would probably be next if i had to choose who goes 2nd.

Giroux is a mad man out there when on the PK. Richards has had his chances, but has missed a few shorthanded breakaways. Richards has shown the consistency of being a threat shorthanded, but this season I have to go with Giroux.

Giroux is sick.

From what I have seen he is the most offensively dangerous player on the Flyers after Briere.

Giroux will be the best player on that team by 2013.

Man the Flyers are good.

YA I picked them to win it all, but I still get amazed at how deep this team is.

They can put Giroux on one PK unit and have Richards on the other.

Lucky buggers!

That's not even mentioning the D that they can throw out there.

Back on topic, I vote Giroux.

I'll go Giroux on this one. That guy is sick short handed. Not to say he's the best killer, but whenever he's on the ice a man down it seems like he's looking to score more than anyone else. I'm really starting to like him a lot. I think he's gonna turn into one hell of a player.

I guess Richards got upset, he just finished a shorthanded breakaway.
I feel like just putting on a Flyers uniform makes you a short handed threat. lol

Yeah. You could probably put Colton Orr on Philly and he would suddenly score 10 SH goals in a year.

Gotta go with Richards. He's been doin this since he came into the league but with Giroux getting much more shorthanded time he's definitely proven he can make some dynamic shorthanded plays and might surpass Richards as my choice. Either way I'm glad to have both of em on the Flyers.

Other - Though every player on this list is undoubtedly dangerous. I believe Brad Marchand is right up there too, He's a talented young speedy kid, who is tied for the lead in Short handed goals. Maybe i'm letting my Bias show, but i believe he is a very under rated penalty killer, glad he's on my team, and hope he becomes a big name player in his career.
