I have heard this topic come up a ton of times over the period of the last two seasons. Not on this forum, but on hockey night in canada, watching games of certain teams, or NHL.com.

It doesn't necessarily mean, who is the best scorer, or shooter, or passer in the NHL. It's who has the best stick work, or control over the puck, Also guys with good hands generally get lot's of takeaways. Some may say who has the softest hands. But if you understand what I'm talking about feel free to express your opinion. No poll on this one because I've heard way to many names on this topic. I've heard names from Rob Schremp, to Alex Semin.

My pick goes to Pavel Datsyuk. he is so smooth with the puck, and it's like when he has the puck it's attached to the blade with a string. he is so smooth lifting sticks, and taking pucks. great dekes, and has such a great release.

My vote goes to three different people. Datsyuk obviously has some of the dirties dekes in the NHL. Getzlaf is just plain nasty with the puck. To me when Semin puck handles it looks graceful and fluent. Lol So those would be my top 3 picks for Best hands in the NHL. Shremp also gets honorable mention.

Man there are quite a few guys who can "stickhandle in a phone booth" as they say.

I've seen Spezza make some sick moves.

I watched Thorton make everyone on the ice look like they were standing still, as he stickhandled through 4 guys inside the blueline. For a big guy it was impressive.

Kovalev cheats though. He uses Palmolive!

How does a player cheat I puck handling.? It's a skill!
