As a huge anaheim ducks fan i must admit i am realy dissapointed in the way that they always put up a great fight against the top teams in the league and play their backsides off and win, and then when they come up against the teams who are not doing so well they tend to struggle. Can someone explain why? is it normal? or is it just a thing anaheim always does?

This is very common with all teams. They don't think they need to play as hard, and the next thing you know, their 6 goals down!!

Where is the consistency?

Yup, anaheim_aussie, panoo has it. Unfortunately,
it's human nature. Virtually all teams do it. For the
most part, you play down to your competition.

Well they have to stop doing that, because come play-offs if you give a decent team a big enough lead they will not let them back in the contest
