Rocket 5, Fog Devils 2

Guillaume Doucet and Martin Latal helped the P.E.I. Rocket get a measure of revenge against the St. John's Fog Devils.

Doucet and Latal each had a goal and three assists to lead the Rocket to a 5-2 road win over the Fog Devils on Wednesday in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The Rocket were playing back-to-back games at Mile one Stadium in St. John's, N.L. They lost to the Fog Devils 5-3 Tuesday night.

At St. John's, David Laliberte scored twice for P.E.I., while Geoff Walker had the other Rocket goal.

T.J. Brennan and Tim Spencer replied for the Fog Devils.

Antoine Lafleur made 20 saves for the Rocket (24-18-1-5), while Pierre-Alexandre Marion stopped 30 shots for the Fog Devils (20-26-2-1).

Foreurs 5, Sagueneens 1

At Val-d'Or, Que., Jerome Samson had a hat trick as the Foreurs (31-15-2-2) cruised to victory over Chicoutimi (22-24-4-1). Felix Schutz and Julius Sinkovic also scored for Val-d'Or, while Martin Thibeault, Mathieu Roy and Kristopher Letang each added two assists. Francis Verreault-Paul scored for the Sagueneens.

Oceanic 3, Drakkar 2

At Rimouski, Que., Jordan Caron scored in the third period to lead the Oceanic to a win over Baie-Comeau. Louis-Philippe Lachance and Patrice Cormier also scored for Rimouski (11-30-6-1). Jean-Philippe Paquet and Francois Bouchard replied for the Drakkar (25-16-1-6).
