Minnesota, 8-1-2, is No. 1 nationally.

North Dakota's Chris Porter, a senior forwaard from Thunder Bay, Ont., has scored the tying or winning goals in three straight games for the Fighting Sioux. The Chicago Blackhawks draft pick is on a six-game point streak and tied for the team scoring lead with 10 points.

Goaltender Michael-Lee Teslak of Fernie, B.C., a Michigan Tech sophomore, made 16 saves in a 0-0 tie against Minnesota-Duluth last Friday. Teslak is second nationally in goals-against average at 1.57 while sporting a .923 save percentage.

Glenn Fisher of Edmonton, a senior goaltender for Denver, posted his second collegiate shutout in a 2-0 win at Wisconsin. The Edmonton Oilers draft pick leads Denver with a 4-2-0 record, a 2.14 goals-against average and a WCHA-best .931 save percentage.

Paul Crowder of Victoria, a freshman forward at Alaska Anchorage, has four goals and four assists in his first 10 games and is riding a four-game point streak.
