Ya, Lidstrom is definitely a Norris candidate, it should go to him. I never said that the Sharks and Ducks weren't good teams, I actually like them both.Hkyfn said:You've lost a little of the Michigan swagger, FCP. I suppose reality will eventually do that to you.
The neutral zone trapping is all gone now, with the new rules in effect from the league. The big part of the trap was clutching and grabbing, but if a team plays that way, expect a stampede to the penalty box. In short, your team should spend the better part of the game on the power play. I see you are already using excuse number 68 (blame the NZT). I can't wait to read your other excuses as your grey beard Red Wings limp out the door, after having their asses severly kicked.
You know very little about the Ducks, they play a full out, offensive type game built on speed. Led by soon to be Norris winner, Neidermeyer (yes, the award given for the BEST DEFENSEMEN-understand that lugnut...er wingnut!) and with their speedy forwards, they're a team to be taken seriously. The Sharks are just the same.
Oh, one other thing FCP, try to cut back on the hooch, you're making too many typo's in your posts, which I attribute to excessive alcohol comsuption. My moniker is Hkyfn, not Hckyfck. :cheeky4:
Whatever hkyfn.Anaheim played right into Calgary's trap. Calgary scored very few goals all year. That's defensive hockey. Even with Inguana Calgary hasn't produced much goal wise. Kiprsawedoff is the difference. It just makes make me sick that the playoffs are worlds apart from the regular season. The Redwings are old but Steve Yzerman is playing like a champ. Heart and Soul. Maybe the rest of the Redwings should take notice. And the fact that North Americans still play better than Europeans come playoff time. The first round is the toughest. Detroit, Ottawa, Dallas, and Carolina have their backs against the wall but it's still early. We'll see what every team is made of in the next week. Detroit hasn't won yet but they are definitely not done. We take one in Edmonton and it's a series. By the way the wings should have received a penalty shot on a thrown stick. That's O.K. Edmonton deserved to win and I'll concede that but the series is still young. That's what the playoffs are all about. One game at a time. By the way are you like a wine sipper since you make fun of my corona's? I know the famous califreaksareus superficial pretentious phony shallow egotistical calls for wine sipping because that is "so cool". Still legends in your own minds.Hkyfn said:You've lost a little of the Michigan swagger, FCP. I suppose reality will eventually do that to you.
