PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. (CP) - Dana Tyrell's third-period goal with 6:15 left lifted the Prince George Cougars to a 5-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Tyrell got his skate blade on teammate Devin Setoguchi's point blast and the shot trickled into the net through the legs of goalie Jesse Deckert.

Setoguchi sealed the win a few minutes later with an empty-netter, his 19th goal of the season.

The Raiders were playing their fifth and final game of an eight-day tour of the B.C. Division and showed their road-weary spaghetti legs in a sluggish first period.

Coming off a pair of road wins earlier in the week in Portland and Seattle, the Cougars set the tone early and broke out to a 2-0 lead after one period.

Nick Drazenovic put his hometown audience in the celebratory mood 1:58 in with a high wrist shot that caught the corner just under the crossbar behind Deckert, who rejoined the Raiders a month ago from Salmon Arm of the BCHL.
