(Sports Network) - The teams with the highest point totals in the Western Conference clash tonight when the Anaheim Ducks welcome the San Jose Sharks to the Honda Center.

Anaheim leads the West and Pacific Division with 33 points, while San Jose is three points back. However, the Sharks technically sit fourth in the West because the division leaders hold the top three spots.

The Ducks ended a two-game slide with Sunday's 6-4 win over Phoenix in the fourth portion of a five-game homestand. Chris Kunitz recorded his first career hat trick, and his third goal 9:21 into the final period broke a 4-4 tie.

Andy McDonald added two goals and two assists, while Teemu Selanne posted a career-high five helpers for the Ducks. Anaheim ended just its second losing streak of the season.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere finished with 24 saves for Anaheim.

On the milestone watch, Selanne is three goals shy of reaching 500 for his career.
