For one night at least, the Rimouski Oceanic put on an offensive display reminiscent of the Sidney Crosby days.

Olivier Fortier scored twice and added an assist as the Oceanic stunned the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 6-2 Tuesday night, ending their five-game losing streak. David Skokan and Maxime Gratchev each added a goal and two assists as Rimouski (5-16-3-1) obliterated a 2-1 deficit with five unanswered goals in the second and third periods combined.

It was a welcome victory for the Oceanic, who are mired in last place in the QMJHL standings for the second straight season. Rimouski is a dreadful 15-73-5-2 since the Crosby-led Oceanic advanced to the 2005 Memorial Cup championship. Crosby left for the NHL the following season.

Marc-Andre Laroche and Patrice Cormier added singles for Rimouski.

In other QMJHL action Tuesday:

Saint John 5, Chicoutimi 3
Drummondville 4, Gatineau 0
Victoriaville 7, Halifax 4

At Rimouski, Que., Jean-Sebastien Adam replied with both goals for the Drakkar (13-8-1-2), who have dropped three straight.
