Jhase Sniderman stopped 26 shots for the shutout as the Moncton Wildcats edged the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 1-0 in QMJHL action Tuesday night.
Sniderman was busy in the first and third periods, stopping 11 shots in both frames to anchor the win for the Wildcats (32-15-1-2) over the Screaming Eagles (31-16-2-0).
At Moncton, N.B., Matt Marquardt had the lone goal for the Wildcats.

At Shawinigan, Que., Tomas Svoboda scored three goals for Drummondville (23-22-0-3). Scott Howes had the other goal. Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll had two goals for the Cataractes (19-24-2-3) while Danick Bouchard had the other.
Fog Devils 5, Rocket 3
At St. John's NL, T.J. Brennan had two goals to lead the Fog Devils (20-25-2-1). Nicolas Bachand, Ryan Graham and Wesley Welcher also scored. Chris Doyle, Brett Morrison and Chad Locke replied for the Rocket (23-18-1-5).

At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Julien Brouillette, Nicolas Blanchard and Francis Verreault-Paul scored to pace the Huskies (25-20-3-4). Ivan Vishnevskiy and Justin Munden scored for Chicoutimi (22-23-4-1).
