SEATTLE (CP) - The Tri-City Americans had goals from Colton Yellow Horn, Alex Aldred and Michael Kaye to earn a 3-2 road win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in WHL action on Sunday night.

Chris Durand and Jan Eberle scored for Seattle, but the Ams took advantage of a strong penalty kill to come away with the win. Durand scored his second goal of the season in the first period to put Seattle up 1-0. But the Americans bounced back in the second period with two late-period power-play goals by Yellow Horn and Aldred to take a 2-1 lead into the second intermission.
