Well its going to be a short camp, so not alot of invitees this year. Other than the signed NHL players, the Pens have called up Eric Tangradi, Simon Despres, Beau Bennet, Brian Strait, Robert Bortozzo and Jason Megna to attend camp.

Strait and Borozzo have almost no chance of making the opening game lineup, but they may be in the press box as the 7th Dman. Letang,Orpik,Martin and Nisknanen are locks, and probably Engelland. Question should be can Simon Despres take the spot of Ben Lovejoy in the regular lineup. I don't want to see Despres on the NHL lineup only to sit in the press box. He'll either be in the starting rotation, or getting game time in the AHL.

Of the forwards, it will be interesting to see if Eric Tangradi can finally live up to the expetations. There is a top six spot open. My guess is that it will be Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis on one line, with Neal and Malkin looking for their other winger on the second line. I'd like to see Tangradi there instead of Kennedy or Jeffery.

The third line I would like to see is Cooke-Sutter-Kennedy, and the fourth being Jeffery-Adams-Vitale.

Lets see if some of the young guys can shake things up.

Well today's top two lines at camp were:
Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis
Neal-Malkin-Tangradi

So it looks like the open for the top six spot is Tangradi's to lose.
