Tom Sestito's four-point game helps lead Whalers to 7-1 rout of Knights

LONDON, Ont. (CP) - Tom Sestito scored three goals during the span of 6:12 in the opening period and added an assist in the third to help the Plymouth Whalers to a 7-1 rout of the London Knights in Ontario Hockey League play on Thursday night.

Steve Ward opened the scoring for the Whalers three minutes into the match and Sestito counted his three, including two on the power play, by the 10:20 mark as Plymouth (18-10-1-0) took a 4-0 lead into the intermission.

The Whalers continued to roll with three more power-play goals as Jared Boll made it 5-0 with the lone goal of the second period, and James Neal and Chris Terry completed their team's scoring in the third.

Matt Clarke replied for London (25-5-1-2) with 2:21 remaining in the game.
