Martin Brodeur, Vincent Lecavalier and Alexander Ovechkin have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending December 10.

Brodeur earned first star honours by leading the New Jersey Devils to three wins while posting a 0.65 goals-against average and a .970 save percentage. Brodeur's week was highlighted by a 28-save performance in a 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers that game him his 84th career shutout, tying Glenn Hall for third place on the all-time list. He also picked up his 462nd career victory, which moved him past Ed Belfour into second place all-time.
