(Sports Network) - The Southeast Division-leading Atlanta Thrashers will try to halt a four-game losing streak tonight, when they visit the New Jersey Devils at the Meadowlands.
The Thrashers, who are 0-2-2 in the recent slide, have 56 points and lead second-place Carolina by four points in the Southeast.
Atlanta is coming off Tuesday's setback in Montreal, where Michael Ryder scored two goals and added an assist to give the Canadiens a 4-2 victory at the Bell Centre.
Greg de Vries and Brad Larsen each scored a goal and Kari Lehtonen made 30 saves for the Thrashers.
Tonight marks the third portion of a four-game road trip for the Thrashers, who are 13-8-4 as the visitor this year.
The Devils are also coming off a setback, having dropped one to visiting St. Louis on Wednesday. Dallas Drake tallied the go-ahead goal in the second period as the Blues defeated New Jersey, 3-2, at Continental Airlines Arena.
