(Sports Network) - The Atlanta Thrashers try to end a two-game skid tonight when they welcome the Dallas Stars to Philips Arena.

Since a four-game winning streak, the Thrashers have fallen to the Rangers and Lightning. On Saturday they dropped a 5-3 tilt in Tampa, as Dan Boyle, Nikita Alexeev and Brad Richards each had a goal and an assist to lift the Bolts.

Marian Hossa tallied two goals and an assist for the Thrashers, extending his point streak to seven games. He also checks in with 15 goals for the season.

Atlanta goaltender Kari Lehtonen allowed five goals on 36 shots in the loss.

Hossa has five goals and eight assists during his current scoring run.

Atlanta, with 27 points, is four ahead of second-place Carolina in the Southeast Division race.
