Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Atlanta has activated forward Scott Mellanby from injured reserve, Thrashers general manager Don Waddell announced on Friday.
Mellanby, also the team captain, was placed on IR December 27th with a shoulder ailment, and missed his team's last 10 games.
