San Jose definitely got the best of it. That was a block buster. Look at how Thornton is doing now on San Jose. He is doing better than he previously was on Boston. He is one of the best in the league nowadays. His style of play makes him look like Mark Messier. He is that type of player and that good since he has been on San Jose. Marco Sturm is a fairly alright player but definitely not as good as Thornton.

Joe Thornton just won the scoring championship:eek: ...........this was an absolute terriable trade for the Bruins. Thornton made the sharkes so much beter and the Bruins got worse.

Sharks got the better end of this trade for sure.

The Bruins GM need a boot in the ass......you look at the players on that team, then rather than thinking about working on the coaching you trade the team best player, makes sense to me:rolleyes:

San Jose, for sure. Not putting down Sturm, Stuart or primeau though. just that Thornton's way better, and he showed it by helping Cheechoo (and himself) snatch the Rocket Richard and Art Ross trophies away from Jaromir Jagr in the last few weeks of the season. He's just such a dominating player. I wonder if he'll ever take that next step and carry his team in the playoffs one day though.
