San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - Joe Thornton was credited with the go-ahead goal with 2:13 remaining, as the San Jose Sharks rallied for a 4-3 win over the Pacific Division-leading Anaheim Ducks.

Thornton also had an assist, while Milan Michalek and Joe Pavelski each had two helpers for the Sharks, who won for the fourth time in five games.

Evgeni Nabokov had 32 saves for San Jose, which came back from a deficit with under eight minutes left.

Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry each had a goal and an assist for the Ducks, who had a five-game winning streak broken.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 25 saves for Anaheim, which fell to 12-2-2 on the road this season.

Dustin Penner's power play goal, on a redirection of a shot by Perry, gave the Ducks a 3-2 lead at 12:15 of the third.

Jonathan Cheechoo scored just 31 seconds later on a rebound in front to knot the score.

Thornton got a fortunate bounce for the game-winner, as the Sharks were on the power play with Chris Kunitz on the penalty box for holding. Thornton fired a wrist shot from the right circle. Cheechoo was in front, screening Giguere, but the puck deflected off Ducks defenseman Scott Niedermayer and past the netminder.

Nabokov stopped Teemu Selanne with under 30 seconds left to preserve the win.

Getzlaf's power-play goal with 2:59 left in the first period put Anaheim up 1-0. From the right circle, Andy McDonald fed the puck to Getzlaf, who one- timed a slap shot past Nabokov's stick side.

Had to watch this after-the-fact. What a great game. Speed, tension, grit .. it had it all.
