CANUCKS 6 vs. LEAFS 1 - Final

Daniel Sedin had a goal and three assists and Brother Henrik chipped in with three helpers on a night where Vancouver went 5 for 10 on the power-play. The Leafs were 0 for 8.

Mattias Ohlund, Trevor Linden, Taylor Pyatt and Sami Salo also scored with the man advantage, while Markus Naslund rounded out the scoring for the Canucks with an even strength goal in the third.

Bates Battaglia was the only Bud to beat Roberto Luongo on 36 shots.

Ryan Kesler had a goal and two assists and Roberto Luongo stopped 30 shots to record his third shut-out of the season and help the Canucks overtake the Flames in the Northwest derby.

Jan Bulis and Josh Green each had a goal and an assist and Lukas Krajicek rounded out the scoring for Vancouver in a meaningful homecoming for many Canuck players and coaches.

Luongo and the Canucks coasted the rest of the way to improve their record versus Eastern Conference teams to 5-1-1.

CANUCKS 2 vs. SENATORS 1 - Final

Taylor Pyatt scored on a second-period power play, then helped set up Rory Fitzpatrick's first of the year as the Canucks dumped the red hot Senators 2-1.

Daniel Alfredsson was the only Ottawa skater to beat Roberto Luongo on 35 shots. The Canucks keeper picked up his third straight win, and 27th of the season in the victory.

It's the Canucks' third straight win, and their 10th in the past 11 games. Vancouver's now three points clear of the second-place Flames in the Northwest race.
