Dan LaCosta made 31 saves for his second straight shutout and Adam Pineault scored two of Syracuse’s four power-play goals as the Crunch rolled past division-leading Rochester, 6-0.
The Crunch swept their four-game homestand, outscoring the opposition, 16-3. Syracuse is 6-0-0-1 in its last seven at the Onondaga County War Memorial.
Geoff Platt, Joakim Lindstrom, Curtis Glencross and Steven Goertzen also scored for the Crunch, who have earned points in six of seven meetings with the Americans this season (4-1-0-2).
Filip Novak, Philippe Dupuis, Ryan Caldwell and Jamie Pushor each dished out two assists.
The Amerks had won 10 of their previous 11 games.
