Juraj Simek's powerplay goal with under 10 minutes to go in the third period gave Switzerland a 2-1 win over Slovakia in a relegation round match at the World Junior hockey championship on Tuesday.
Janick Steinmann opened the scoring for the Swiss on the powerplay with 19 seconds left in the first period before Michal Korenko evened things up on the powerplay for Slovakia in the second.
