(Sports Network) - The surging Ottawa Senators aim for their third consecutive victory tonight, when they welcome the Tampa Bay Lightning to Scotiabank Place.

Overall, Ottawa has won six of its last seven games after beginning the year with a 7-11-1 mark.

The Senators are coming off Thursday's impressive victory over the visiting Florida Panthers. Ray Emery stopped 31 shots for his first shutout of the season to lead Ottawa to the 6-0 victory at Scotiabank Place.

Dany Heatley had two goals and an assist and Chris Kelly and Andrej Meszaros each had a goal and an assist for the Senators.

Tonight marks the end of a brief two-game homestand for Ottawa, which is 5-6-0 as the host club this year.

Ottawa will be without No. 1 defenseman Wade Redden, who will miss the match with a shoulder injury suffered Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Lightning will try to snap a two-game losing streak tonight after they dropped a shootout decision Thursday in Boston. Phil Kessel scored in the seventh round of the shootout to lead the Bruins to a 4-3 win at TD Banknorth Garden.
