Cam Fergus scores four goals to lead the Screaming Eagles over the Sagueneens

Cape Breton forward Cam Fergus scored all four of the Screaming Eagles' goals Sunday.

Fergus capped his performance with a short-handed empty-net goal at 19:19 in the third period as the Screaming Eagles' defeated the Chicoutimi Sagueneens 4-1 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

The Brantford, Ont., has 45 points this season and leads Cape Breton with 23 goals, who moved back into first place in the East division.

At Sydney, N.S., James Sheppard had three assists for the Screaming Eagles (16-8-1-0) while Paul Alexander McIlveen added two.

Nicolas Blanchard scored the lone goal for Chicoutimi (7-14-4-1).

Wildcats 3, Drakkar 2

At Moncton, N.B., Christian Gaudet scored the winner at 19:49 in the third period as the Wildcats edged Baie-Comeau.

Andrew MacDonald and Matt Marquardt added for Moncton (15-8-0-1), who got all their goals in the third period.

Renaud Des Alliers and Francois Bouchard had goals for the Drakkar (13-7-1-2).

Huskies 4, Fog Devils 3

At St. John's, N.L., Dylan Quaile put away two goals as Rouyn-Noranda slipped by the Fog Devils.

Michael Dubuc and Justin Munden also scored for the Huskies (12-8-2-2).

Matt Fillier had two in the third period for St. John's (9-13-1-1), while Nicolas Bachand added one.

Titan 5, Sea Dogs 1

At Bathurst, N.B., Thomas Beauregard had a natural hat trick in the second period to lead the Titan over Saint John.

Dany Masse and Spencer Jezegou added for Acadie-Bathurst (14-9-1-0).

Charles Bergeron scored the lone goal for the Sea Dogs (7-12-1-1).

Foreurs 4, Tigres 3

At Victoriaville, Que., Mathieu Roy scored the game-winning goal with five seconds left in the third period as Val-d'Or squeaked past the Tigres.

Martin Thibeault, Henrick Lavoie and Maxime Lincourt added for the Foreurs (14-8-2-1).

Toby Lafrance, Keven Veilleux and Morten Madsen put away goals for Victoriaville (12-10-0-0).

Olympiques 3, Cataractes 1

At Gatineau, Ont., Claude Giroux scored the winner as the Olympiques downed Shawinigan.

Keven Petit and Brett Morrison also scored for Gatineau (15-5-1-2).

Danick Bouchard scored Shawinigan's (13-7-1-3) only goal.

Remparts 4, Rocket 3

At Quebec City, Angelo Esposito put away the shootout winner as the Remparts beat P.E.I.

Maxime Aubut, Roman Bashkirov and Brent Aubin added for Quebec (15-10-0-0).

Pierre-Luc Lessard, David Laliberte and Joey Haddad scored for the Rocket (10-7-0-4).
