(Sports Network) - The slumping Nashville Predators try to put the brakes on a three-game skid tonight when they visit the Los Angeles Kings at Staples Center.
The Preds, who lead the Central Division by three points over second-place Detroit, have fallen to Chicago, Phoenix and Anaheim during the losing streak. On Wednesday they dropped a 4-0 tilt to the Ducks, as Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 21 saves and Teemu Selanne netted two goals and added an assist to spark the Ducks.
Netminder Chris Mason, who continues to fill in for the injured Tomas Vokoun (thumb), allowed four goals on 32 shots for the Predators.
A fourth consecutive loss for Nashville would mark a season high.
The Preds play the third portion of a four-game road trip tonight and will visit San Jose on Saturday.
