(Sports Network) - The Buffalo Sabres try to expand their latest winning streak to five games tonight when they host the struggling Ottawa Senators at HSBC Arena.

The Sabres' four-game run comes on the heels of their first regulation loss of the season, a 4-1 tilt vs. Toronto on November 4. On Monday they kept the tear alive with a 7-4 win in Carolina, as Derek Roy had a goal and two assists to lead the effort.

Jochen Hecht had two goals and Thomas Vanek had a goal and an assist for the Sabres, who won their 10th straight road game to open the season.

Martin Biron finished with 31 saves in the win, spelling injured regular starter Ryan Miller. Miller has an abdominal strain and, while he might be available, likely won't start.

The Sabres, who are 5-1-1 on home ice, will host Pittsburgh on Friday. Starting tonight Buffalo plays five of its next six at HSBC Arena.
