(Sports Network) - The red-hot Edmonton Oilers will aim for their fifth consecutive victory tonight, when they welcome the Chicago Blackhawks to Rexall Place.

The Oilers have won four consecutive games and, with another victory this evening, can notch their first five-game winning streak since December 15-23 of last season, a campaign that ended with Edmonton winning the Western Conference title before ultimately losing to Carolina in the Stanley Cup Finals.

The last three notches in Edmonton's streak have come at home, including Tuesday's triumph over the rival Calgary Flames. Petr Sykora scored his second goal of the game in the third period to lift the Oilers to the 2-1 win in the Battle of Alberta.

Ales Hemsky assisted on both goals for Edmonton, which has 25 points and is tied atop the Northwest Division standings with Minnesota. Dwayne Roloson made 23 saves in the victory.

The Oilers, who are 9-2-0 at home this year, are playing the fourth segment of a seven-game homestand tonight.
