A pair of power-play goals from the Rivermen and Chris Beckford-Tseu stopping 22 of 23 shots from the Wolves helped Peoria defeat Chicago by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

After letting up a goal midway through the first period, Beckford-Tseu stopped all eight shots in both the second and third period to give Peoria its fifth win in the last six contests.

Charles Linglet scored the first Peoria goal, marking the third straight game in which he has tallied, and Peter Sejna scored what proved to be the game winner at 13:55 of the second period.

Cory Larose scored the lone goal in the loss for Chicago, while Darren Haydar was left off the scoring sheet for the first time all season.

Haydar’s streak lasted an all-time AHL best 39 games, in which he amassed 24 goals, 55 assists and 79 points to lead all players in the league by 23 points.
