MISSISSAUGA, Ont. (CP) - Stefan Legein scored a pair of goals and the Mississauga IceDogs went on to beat the Toronto St. Michael's Majors 5-2 Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Legein scored his 17th and 18th goals of the season, almost doubling his output in his two previous seasons in the league. Coming into this season, he had managed just 10 goals in 108 games. He scored once in the first period and sealed the Mississauga victory later with an unassisted effort midway through the third.

Michael Swift, Nathan Martine and Andrew Merrett, with the first goal of his OHL career, were the other marksmen for Mississauga (15-9-0-2).
