(Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators will try to continue their excellent month of November when they visit the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center tonight.

The Predators are 6-1-1 this month and are an even more impressive 13-1-2 since losing their first three games of the season. The lengthy hot streak has Nashville atop the Central Division standings with a two-point lead over the Detroit Red Wings.

Nashville is coming off a home-and-home sweep of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Paul Kariya and Martin Erat each notched a goal and an assist to lead the Predators past the Blue Jackets, 3-1, in the most recent meeting Monday night at Nationwide Arena.

Scott Nichol also scored for the Predators, who topped the Blue Jackets for the third time since Wednesday night, earning a 5-4 win on the road before coming home to prevail by a 4-2 mark on Saturday.

Tomas Vokoun made 23 saves for Nashville, which completes a brief two-game road trip tonight. The Preds are an impressive 9-3-0 as the visiting team this season.

The Preds will, however, be without center Jason Arnott, who will miss a chance to face his old club. Arnott, who signed as a free agent over the summer, could be out until January after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.

The Stars, who are 6-2-0 as the host team this year, are playing the second portion of a three-game homestand tonight. They kicked off the residency with a 5-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday. Brenden Morrow scored twice before leaving with an injury, and Antti Miettinen tallied the game-winner during a wild third period.
