(Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars are back in the win column and will try for more success tonight when they visit the Phoenix Coyotes at Glendale Arena.
Dallas is 6-1-0 this season and shook off its only loss of the season last Tuesday in San Jose with Friday's 5-4 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks at American Airlines Center.
Philippe Boucher scored with 39.4 seconds left in the third period and helped erase a 3-1 deficit heading into the final stanza. Mike Modano, Jere Lehtinen, Mike Ribeiro and Antti Miettinen all scored in the win.
Dallas goaltender Marty Turco made 18 saves for the Stars, who tied a franchise mark for best start to begin a season. A win on Saturday would match the 1996-97 Stars for the best start after eight games.
Meanwhile, the Coyotes are having a miserable start to the season with a 2-5 mark and have lost five of their last six games. After ending a four-game skid on Tuesday with a win over St. Louis, Phoenix fell back into the loss column after Thursday's 4-0 blanking by the Los Angeles Kings.
