San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - Marty Turco made 20 saves to record his fourth shutout of the season, as the Dallas Stars blanked the San Jose Sharks, 3-0 at HP Pavilion.

Turco also recorded his 28th-career shutout, moving him past Ed Belfour for the most in franchise history.

Jeff Halpern, Jussi Jokinen and Brenden Morrow all scored goals for the Stars, who have won two of their last three games.

Vesa Toskala allowed three goals on 26 shots for the Sharks, who lost for just the second time in their last six games.

The Stars scored 6:56 into the opening period to take a 1-0 lead early. Philippe Boucher's heavy slap shot from the right point was stopped on a pad save. The puck, though, kicked out at the left side of the crease where Halpern slammed the disc home.

Dallas made it 2-0 with a power-play goal after Jokinen skated in all alone on Toskala and lifted a backhander over his right shoulder 6:11 into the second stanza.
