DALLAS (AP) - The Dallas Stars assigned goaltender Mike Smith and centre Joel Lundqvist to the AHL Iowa Stars on Friday and recalled goaltender Dan Ellis from the minor league team.

Smith has a 5-3-0 record with Dallas this season, along with a 2.27 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. The team said the move is for conditioning.

The stars of DALLAS are reuniting to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic show. Cast members of the popular prime-time soap opera that ran from 1978 - 1991 will return to the Southfork Ranch near Dallas on 8 November (08) to commemorate the date.
