SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Philippe Boucher scored the tying goal with 2.2 seconds left in regulation before Mike Ribeiro added the winner in the shootout as the Dallas Stars captured a 3-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night.

Boucher's goal forced the Sharks' first overtime game since the season opener Oct. 5 - an NHL-record 49 games, the longest streak since the five-minute overtime rule was introduced in 1983. San Jose hadn't participated in a shootout all season, and goalie Vesa Toskala's rust might have showed in three straight scores by the Stars, who are 18-3 in shootouts.
