(Sports Network) - A pair of teams in the midst of three-game losing streaks will meet today in Dallas, as the Stars welcome the Los Angeles Kings to American Airlines Center.

The Stars have 53 points and are third in the Pacific Division, while the Kings are in the basement with 38 points.

Dallas was last in action Thursday against the visiting Anaheim Ducks and found itself on the wrong end of a rout. Teemu Selanne recorded his 19th career hat trick to lead the Ducks to the 5-1 victory.

Marty Turco allowed five goals on 24 shots for the slumping Stars, who have also dropped five of their last six tests. Niklas Hagman tallied the lone goal for Dallas in the loss.

The Stars are 13-8-0 as the host this season and are playing the third test of a four-game homestand tonight. They will close out the residency Wednesday against Calgary.

The Kings' latest setback came Saturday in St. Louis, in a game that didn't feature a great deal of defense. The Blues posted the 6-5 win at Scottrade Center, as Doug Weight and Dennis Wideman each had a goal and two assists to lead St. Louis.

Rob Blake had two goals while Michael Cammalleri added a goal and an assist for the Kings.
