(Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars try to end their first losing skid of the season tonight when they visit the Phoenix Coyotes at Arena.

Dallas has fallen to Vancouver and Calgary on the road, after beginning the season 11-2-0. On Tuesday the Stars dropped a 3-1 tilt to the Flames in the third portion of a four-game road trip. Tony Amonte's two goals and Miikka Kiprusoff's 25 saves sparked Calgary.

Antti Miettinen provided the only goal for the Stars, and Marty Turco stopped 15 shots in the loss.

The Stars' offensive attack has managed only two goals in the last two games. They haven't managed more than three goals in six of the last seven contests.

Dallas, which is 6-3-0 on the road, will host the NY Islanders next Wednesday in the club's return home.

Phoenix, meanwhile, ended a two-game losing streak on Saturday, toppling Los Angeles, 6-4. Shane Doan scored two goals to lead the effort.

Ed Jovanovski and Georges Laraque each added a goal and an assist and Ladislav Nagy added three assists for the Coyotes, who had lost six of their previous seven matches.
