(Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars will try to slow down the powerful Anaheim Ducks, as the division rivals meet this evening at the Honda Center.

The Ducks lead the Pacific Division and the NHL with 58 points. They are currently 10 points ahead of San Jose and 16 in front of the third-place Stars.

Anaheim has won 13 of its last 16 games (13-2-1) and is coming off Monday's triumph over Calgary. Samuel Pahlsson scored the game-winning goal in the third period and Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 27 saves as the Ducks defeated the visiting Flames, 4-1.

Andy McDonald, Dustin Penner and Corey Perry also scored for the Ducks, while Teemu Selanne notched an assist for his team-leading 44th point of the season.

The Ducks, who cap a brief two-game homestand tonight, are 14-2-4 in their own arena this season and lead the league in home victories.

Meanwhile, Dallas is coming off a close victory in Los Angeles on Saturday. Mike Ribeiro scored the lone goal in the shootout, as Dallas posted a 4-3 win over the Kings at the Staples Center. It was the Stars' fifth straight victory over LA this season.
