SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. (CP) - Kirill Starkov scored twice and assisted on another while Martin Hanzal had a goal and four helpers as the Red Deer Rebels beat the Swift Current Broncos 5-2 in Western Hockey League action Saturday.

Starkov notched the game-winning goal on the power play with 5:28 left in regulation to collect his team-leading 16th goal of the season.

The Rebels also had goals from Jordan Henry, Brandon Sutter, and Hanzal, with an empty net goal. Hanzal's five point night improves his league-leading point total to 44 points (13 goals and 31 assists).

The Broncos replied with goals from Jeremy Schenderling and Levi Nelson.
