(Rochester, December 12)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Drew Stafford, and the Florida Panthers have recalled forward David Booth. In related news, the Panthers sent forward Rob Globke back to Rochester.

Globke returns to Rochester after a seven-game recall stint with the Panthers. With the Amerks this season, the right wing has two goals and four assists in 13 games. Globke was the Florida Panthers' second-round selection (40th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Booth returns to the Panthers for the second time this season. The left wing spent a four-game stint with the South Florida team in mid-November. Booth has three goals and six assists in 18 games for the Amerks. He was the Florida Panthers' second-round selection (53rd overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Sabres have recalled Stafford three days after his fourth multi-point game of the season for the Amerks. Stafford netted two goals in the Amerks' 6-3 win over Hamilton on Saturday, December 9th. He has eight goals and five assists in 15 games with the Amerks this season. The former Buffalo first-round pick also has two goals and three assists in 13 games for the Sabres this season.
