(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Lightning have some ground to make up in the Southeast Division, and they are doing it a little bit at a time.
The Bolts have won two straight and three of their last four games (3-0-1), including Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win in Pittsburgh. Vincent Lecavalier scored with 2:19 left in overtime as Tampa continued its dominance of the Penguins.
After a Penguins point shot went wide, Martin St. Louis grabbed the puck at the left boards and sent a pass to Lecavalier at center ice. Lecavalier skated in all alone, deked to the backhand and lifted the puck past a sprawled out Marc-Andre Fleury for the victory.
Dimitry Afanasenkov, Brad Richards and Eric Perrin each scored a goal for the Lightning, who defeated Pittsburgh for the ninth consecutive time in the series.
Johan Holmqvist stopped 17 shots for Tampa Bay.
