Well habs fans you could be seeing the last of Sheldon Souray in a Canadiens jersey this year. Common sense and a few reports say that souray could be on the block to get scoring and grit. A logical team that he could go to is defense lacking Edmonton where they could get maybe Raffi Torres and a pick. This move would add grit size and scoring but decrease in a much wanted roster space. If they were to make that trade it would increase cap room by a fair margin which could help them sign one of their 3 UFA's this coming off season which are their 3 best Markov, Souray, Rivet. Look for one of those guys to be traded but the obvious choice would be Souray. You could get a lot back for him. Rivet is a stay at home in your face defenseman which every team needs and doesn't want to give up. Mr. Gainey please if your going to trade Souray get a power forward with size, speed, and talent it will help us to keep teams from giving us the label as the smallest team in the league.

I think Nashville may have been a little smaller, but Montreal was probably the smallest team in the East.

I agree though. If they do trade him they better be getting a big guy who can play on the top 2 lines.
